A burst gas main at the Heritage Park near the intersection of Moss Vale Road and Kangaloon Road in Bowral caused traffic delays on Friday morning.
Both directions on Moss Vale Road were closed and detour signs directed traffic away from the area.
Camden Local Area Command Detective Inspector Paul Albury
said police installed a 150m perimeter as repair crews clamped off the damaged gas connection
and replaced the pipe.
“At 8.25am, police were called to the rear of Heritage Park on Moss Vale Road in Bowral,” Det Insp Albury said.
