Burrawang's brush with fame

Traditional signwriters from all over Australia and overseas will transform Burrawang's businesses over three days in October.

Members of the international signwriters' group Letterheads will rejuvenate the Burrawang Hotel, Maugers Butchers, the old Burrawang general store, the school, park and cemetery with new signs, as well as creating new entry signs for the village, during Burrawang Brushfest on October 13-15.

Letterheads is a worldwide organisation of signwriters dedicated to the traditional skills of signwriting, relying on a brush and a steady hand rather than computer programs.
