Barry's number up for leader

The leadership of the NSW Liberal party will not be determined until the results of the election count in Goulburn are known.

Liberal Deputy Leader Barry O'Farrell took a break from scrutineering on behalf of Goulburn candidate Pru Goward in Goulburn on Monday to announce he will challenge Peter Debnam for the party leadership.

But Mr O'Farrell said the leadership vote could not take place until the election count was over.
