At Christmas, postman Pat goes flat chat

19 Dec, 2006 05:26 PM
Postman Pat has his work cut out this Christmas.

On Monday, posties at Bowral Delivery Centre distributed 100,000 Christmas cards and letters, 30,000 larger packages and 3700 parcels throughout the Wingecarribee Shire.

The rush will continue up until and after Christmas according to delivery controller Colin McKay.

"It's normal at this time of year for our posties to be run off their feet," he said.

"Following some simple steps will make it easier for us to deliver your parcels and letters."
