Anzac legacy lives

Anzac Day services across the Southern Highlands on Friday showed the men and women of Australia who served in times of conflict will not be forgotten.

Thousands of local residents attended the dawn services and marches in Southern Highlands towns and villages.

About 60 veterans took part in the Dawn Service march at Bowral, which was attended by around 500 people.

More than 100 veterans joined the Anzac Day march later in the day, led by Bowral RSL sub-branch president John Cummins, and Grey Connolly, who returned from a tour of duty in the Persian Gulf on Monday.
