Anger as RTA cuts down Moss Vale trees

13 Aug, 2007 07:58 AM
The RTA has removed four trees in Moss Vale near the roundabout intersecting Argyle Road and the Illawarra Highway.

Local resident Peter Male has criticised the RTA for not consulting with the community before cutting down the four Japanese maple trees on Argyle Road.

Mr Male learned on Wednesday night the trees had been cut down during the day, and said he had contacted the council to inquire about the trees.

"I rang the council and they said they weren't aware of it," Mr Male said.
