THE alleged Fourth Reich bikie gang member, Shane Palk, arrested at his Sutton Forest property last month, will front Moss Vale Local Court facing 18 drugs and firearms charges.
In a related incident, police targeting the supply of weapons to outlaw bikie gangs seized 64 guns, including 47 rifles and one shotgun, from a Bowral gun dealer in Queen Street last Thursday.
Police will allege Mr Palk was buying some of his weapons from the 63-year-old gun dealer, who had his firearms and dealers licence suspended following the raid.
Mr Palk has been charged with 10 firearms offences, possession of cannabis and a restricted substance (methamphetamine), possession of an unauthorised poker machine and handling explosives without a licence among the 18 charges.
Police from Strike Force Raptor seized an anti-tank mine and a grenade along with 25 firearms when they raided the Hanging Rock Road property “Edithvale” on October 28.
The firearms seized included nine rifles, two shotguns, six pistols, seven revolvers plus a number of throwing knives.
The 45-year-old appeared before Goulburn Local Court on Friday and will re-appear at Moss Vale on December 14.
Mr Palk’s bail conditions include a $40,000 surety, reporting to police three times a week and staying at his residential address.
