AN anti-tank mine was one of the items seized by police from a property at Sutton Forest, yesterday.

Shane Palk, appeared before Goulburn Local Court today on 10 charges, including possessing a prohibited firearm and unauthorised firearm.

Yesterday, officers from Strike Force Raptor arrested the 45-year-old during a pro-active operation-targeting firearm and drug related offences.

The police alleged Palk was a member of the Fourth Reich Outlaw Motorcycle Gang.

A police spokesman said officers attended a large property at 5.30am yesterday at Sutton Forest to investigate reports of cannabis supply and firearm possession.

Police seized 25 firearms along with a haul of weaponry and drugs.

These included nine rifles, two shotguns, six pistols, seven revolvers, a hand grenade and a number of throwing knives.

The State Crime Command’s Gangs Squad established strike Force Raptor. It is a pro-active and high-impact operation targeting outlaw motorcycle gangs.

Palk will appear before Goulburn Local Court on November 5.
