A chance to realise your full potential

Southern Highlands students have the chance to share in a $2000 scholarship program, under a new initiative launched by Master Coaching.

Two one-year scholarships, valued at $1000 each, will be awarded to two local students following a judging panel from Master Coaching and the Southern Highland News.

The scholarship will commence in term 2 and will continue for the remainder of the school year.

Master Coaching director Jan Byrnes claimed the program is an excellent opportunity to help students realise their full capability.

“Master Coaching aims to bring out every student’s true potential,” she said.

“Whether they are struggling or at the top of the class, we can maintain those high marks or help those not achieving realise their full potential.”

Local primary and secondary students are invited to enter the competition, and must simply state in 100 words or less what they hope to achieve at Master Coaching and why they should be awarded the scholarship.

Winning candidates will be able to choose from Maths, English or Reading, and they will benefit from group tuition on a weekly basis.

“We are looking for students committed to improving their school work,” Mrs Byrnes said.

Master Coaching has developed itself as a very well-regarded learning institution dedicated to ‘support the excellent work that is done in schools’.

The program’s objective is to develop the student’s self-confidence, raising their self-esteem and help students recognise their own talents.

Staff are fully qualified and many have had their expertise recognised within their particular educational system and also occupy executive positions within schools.

Applications for the scholarship program close on April 17th, with applications to be directed to Master Coaching Bowral, PO Box 1827, Bowral 2576.
