A Buxton resident has been fined about $20,000 for discharging the contents of a septic tank into a street gutter.
Cheryl Crouch appeared in Picton Court on Tuesday and was charged on two counts for polluting waters, among other charges.
Husband David Crouch was charged with the same offences but council withdrew all charges against him a week before proceedings.
