A SUMMER concert will be held at St Jude's Church in Bowral on Sunday.
Commencing at 2.30pm SHOAG (Southern Highlands Opera Appreciation Group) will showcase the wonderful and rightly acclaimed soprano Kate Wilmot, together with tenor Rob Langley, and pianist Kate Johnson.
In addition to operatic arias and duets, the program will include classic songs and songs from stage shows.
Ms Wilmot is a professional soprano who performs in Australia and South Africa while Mr Langley was a founding member of Opera Hunter.
Ms Johnson is an award winning accompanist and vocal coach.
The concert will include works by Donizetti, Giodano, Handel, Mozart, Massenet, Puccini and Verdi, with arias from La Traviata, La Rondine, Marriage of Figaro, Rigoletto, Rinaldo and more.
Afternoon tea will be served after the concert. Tickets are available from the Brown Bookshop in Bowral (cash or cheque only) and from St Jude's Church Office.
A donation from the proceeds will be made to the Southern Highlands Botanic Gardens fundraising project.
