The LBC is joined by international violinist and director Catherine Mackintosh. For many years she was

concertmistress of the Academy of Ancient Music. She has taught Baroque and

classical violin and viola at the Royal College of Music, London and is

visiting professor of Baroque violin and viola at the Royal Scottish Academy

of Music and Drama.

The Swedish soprano, Maria Keohane, covers a wide range of music, from the

baroque to contemporary compositions including chamber music, opera and

oratorios. Outside Sweden she has performed in Italy, France, the Ukraine

and the USA. She specializes in adapting her stage appearance to Baroque

practice.
